Hi, I'm Kate, a UX Designer with a background in content design, SEO, and product management. Here you can learn a bit more about my experience and what I do.

My path into design

My path into design started with language: SEO, content, and communications for international brands. Over time, I found myself drawn more to the visual design of content, how interfaces guide behaviour, and how good design facilitates communication.

 

My strengths

  • Thinking across disciplines: content, UX, product, and tech

  • Managing complicated projects calmly and clearly

  • Translating business needs and user goals into interface logic

  • Making decisions that centre clarity, empathy, and usefulness

  • Solving problems - complex UX or product challenges need creative solutions and that's where I excel

 

Tools & ways I work

I work with a range of tools, from Figma and AdobeXD to Asana, Jira, Excel and various AI tools. I'm just as happy sketching wireframes as I am mapping a user flow in a Google Sheets or turning vague requirements into clear tickets for devs.

 

My motivation

Good design can really make a positive difference to people's lives, and I love being a part of that. I care about work that’s purposeful, inclusive, and socially or environmentally impactful. I’m most energised when I’m collaborating with thoughtful people on projects that simplify, clarify, or uplift.

 

Right now

After living in Germany for 7 years, I'm now based in the UK and working as the Senior Content/UX Designer at Statista Rankings, an international data research and rankings platform. CV available on request.
